Accessibility Statement

Last updated June 19, 2026

World Human Rights USA is committed to digital accessibility for everyone, including people with disabilities. For a human-rights organisation, access is part of the mission — not an afterthought.

Our standard

This site is designed and built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That includes semantic structure and landmarks, a skip-to-content link, full keyboard operability, visible focus indicators, text and table equivalents for our interactive map and charts, support for reduced-motion preferences, and a colour system that meets contrast requirements in both light and dark themes.

Measures we take

  • Automated accessibility testing (axe-core) on key pages as part of our process.
  • Keyboard-only and screen-reader review of interactive features.
  • No information conveyed by colour alone.
  • Captions and accessibility details provided for events and media where available.

Known limitations

Some bundled content is sample placeholder material pending real content and figures. The interactive global map is a progressive enhancement; a complete text list of every location and program is always available as an equivalent.
